Indeed, what happened??
The pressure got them tonight.
The pressure of being broke and needing a long playoff run keep the franchise in Kanata.
The pressure of being the # 1 seed.
The pressure of being the Pres. Trophy winner.
The pressure of the fans expectations.
The pressure of the media's predictions of a Stanley Cup victory.
The pressure of realizing that despite all of the above, there were still unsold tickets to last night's game.
Pressure from the very young fast and tough Isles. Enjoy them. You may
beat them in 6 or 7, but the Sens will feel like they were in car accident
when its over.
Signed,
Chilling out in Toronto, toasting our victory, hoping to see the Sens in the
conference final.
> I am beside myself after the absolutely abysmal performance of the Sens last night. The #1 team in the NHL gets shut out by Garth Snow and the Islanders???? What's going on here?? That just shouldn't happened. To loose is one thing ... to play like that is just pathetic.
