I guess he wants to maintain his fine reputation??? Combined with his reaction to Alfie's mocking stick toss into the stands this guy's lacking a sense of humour. Possibly a lack of self esteem playing in the big leagues. Maybe he realized he successfully scammed a career in the NHL at the expense and detriment of Leaf fans and their organization.
