Opening Analysis / Round 1 / Round 2 / Round 3 / Final
 |
| Roope Hintz took over the playoff scoring lead, but now he's playing golf. |

Round 3 followed the trend of previous rounds in eliminating the remaining two teams of any consequence, leaving just 85 of 3069 picks active for the final round. With less than 3% of player picks remaining, and less than 1% of Cup picks, both record lows for the final round, the pool is pretty bare. But who says there can't still be some excitement?
Marie Loop, trying for a second pool victory ten years after winning it all in 2013, has led since early in round 1 and despite having no players left, is likely to hang on. But it's no guarantee. Anthony Bruno is locked three points behind in second. Vince Galante, currently sitting third, missed an opportunity to capitalize in round 3, but is still left with Jack Eichel needing nine points to surpass Marie, or six to pass Anthony for second. Angela West (3 from Florida) and Laura Speciale (3 from Vegas) have three players each and need 19 points this series to take the top spot.
Perhaps the longest shot, but deserving of its own paragraph, is David Schamma. David was the only poolie who was unscathed and had all nine picks entering round 3, and now is the only player with six picks. Rising from 235th to 171st in round 2 and then to 27th in round 3, David needs 27 points from his six players - and really needs a high-scoring, seven game series to do it. The projection says he can...
| Name | Points [Projection] | Players | |
| Marie Loop | 134 [proj:134] | | |
| Anthony Bruno | 131 [proj:131] | | |
| Vincent Galante | 126 [proj:132] | Eichel | |
| Angela West | 116 [proj: 130] | Tkachuk, Barkov, Montour | |
| Laura Speciale | 116 [proj:130] | Eichel, Stone, Pietrangelo | |
| Joel Borgida | 113 [proj:124] | Eichel, Pietrangelo, Theodore | |
| David Schamma | 107 [proj:135] | Tkachuk, Barkov, Montour, Eichel, Stephenson, Pietrangelo | |
Goalie is usually the most important pick, but no one picked either of the starting goalies in the finals. Sergei Bobrovski (Fla) and Adin Hill (VGK) are tied as the top goalies in the playoffs with 17 pool points each, but they won't factor into the result.

Here are the projected scores and rankings for after
round 4, not including the Cup winner bonus. The projection assumes (wrongly, of course) that the players you
have alive will produce in round 4 at the same average rate as in the first
three rounds. Of course, if you have no players left, you will definitely have the same score as you have now!
