Opening Analysis / Round 1 / Round 2 / Round 3 / Final

| Sergei Bobrovsky has been vital to success in the pool, and led the Panthers to their second straight final. |

Edmonton versus Florida. A Canadian team is finally back in the final in hopes of the country's first Cup in 31 years, led by prodigous forwards. But they are up against a very strong team in Florida with great goaltending in Sergei Bobrovsky.
With most of the top of the pool having the same six players remaining - the six players already at the top of the scoring charts - we will see little change in the standings throughout the final round. The pool championship will be decided by the Cup winner, breaking up the ties with the 10-point Cup bonus. Only one player battle will matter: Sam Reinhart vs Aleksander Barkov could determine who comes third in either team's winning scenario if either of them gets two more points than the other.
In the pool-leading trio, one winner will emerge: if Edmonton wins, it will be Mike Osburn, and if Florida wins, John Thompson, who takes the top prize.
An Oilers win would lift Ryan Thompson into second, while defending Pool-champion Laura Speciale looks to repeat on the podium in third. Laura has Sam Reinhart while two points back Tom Nicholl has Aleksander Barkov, so this player battle will be key to the final podium spot. A Panthers win would lift Anthony Bruno - who placed fourth last year, just missing the podium - and Donna Thompson into a tie for second and third. But in fourth, just two points back, is Kinsey Gill, who has Reinhart instead of Barkov, and could challenge for second place.

Here are the projected scores and rankings for after
round 4, not including the Cup winner bonus. The projection assumes (wrongly, of course) that the players you
have alive will produce in round 4 at the same average rate as in the first
three rounds. Of course, if you have no players left, you will definitely have the same score as you have now!
